Administrative Coordinator for Adapted Primary School and Ängshagenskolan in Sala
We are now looking for an administrative coordinator to be placed in two principal areas, the adapted primary school and Ängshagenskolan. The adapted primary school for grades 1–9 is located at two schools, Åkraskolan and C-husskolan, which are part of Kungsängsgymnasiet. The adapted primary school has about 60 students and 40 staff members. Ängshagenskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 200 students and 30 staff members. The distribution of the position is currently 60% at the adapted primary school and 40% at Ängshagenskolan. This means you will spend three days at the adapted primary school and two days at Ängshagenskolan. Your immediate supervisor will be the principal of the adapted primary school.
We offer you an exciting and responsible role where you support the principal and have the opportunity to contribute to school development.
Job Responsibilities
As an administrative coordinator, you play a central role in the school's administrative work. The assignment is characterized by collaboration and service, and the tasks vary throughout the year with a focus on supporting the principals. You work closely with the principal as your immediate supervisor, but assignments with other school units may occur. The administrative staff at the school office collaborate closely and meet regularly at meetings coordinated by the administrative manager of the school office.
The role is versatile and includes both administrative tasks and contact with staff, students, guardians, the public, and authorities. You are an important part of the school's outward face and provide management support in areas such as work environment, facility issues, and system administration. Tasks may also include quality compilation, substitute management, school transport, student and staff administration, scheduling, document management, record keeping, protocol writing, invoice management, purchasing, as well as work with budget, finance, and forecasts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education or equivalent experience in administration and finance. Experience with administrative work in schools is an advantage. You have excellent computer skills, are willing to learn new systems, and can work independently even during periods of high workload.
The assignment requires you to be structured, self-driven, and able to push processes forward. You need to have good analytical skills and be able to see the big picture in a complex assignment. The role is service-oriented and involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, which requires good social competence.
We value a partnership that is based on collaboration and engagement in the development of the operations. For us, this means that you have a good collaboration with your supervisor and colleagues, meet everyone with a high level of service and quality, are solution-oriented, and have the desire to develop and streamline the work.
We place great importance on personal suitability and that your view of partnership harmonizes with ours.
Employment Conditions
Permanent full-time employment. Individual salary setting. Start date in spring 2026 by agreement.
